SKATE FOR A CAUSE ON GO SKATEBOARDING DAY!

The Sheckler Foundation announced their next Skate for a Cause, this coming Go Skateboarding Day, June 21, 2023. This year they are offering the community 2 fun ways to participate in a family friendly fundraising event. Skaters, family, friends and sponsors are encouraged to create a team to raise funds and awareness of the Sheckler Foundation and the programs that better lives through skateboarding.

With support from our good friends at Challenged Athletes Foundation (CAF) and Wasatch Adaptive Sports, we had the opportunity to connect with Michael Martinez and gift him a Mountain Trike to allow him to continue to purse his lifelong love of Mountain Biking after surviving a stroke in 2021.

With the help from our friends at etnies and MURF Electric Bikes, the Sheckler Foundation and Sandlot Times had the chance to grant the High Fives Foundation with a $5K grant.

It's our first day at Woodward Tahoe and it also happened to be Go Skateboarding Day. It took some time to get used to the higher elevation, but we kicked off the day with some fun inside the Bunker before heading to the Sierra outdoor park to end the day.

SANDLOT TIMES AND THE SHECKLER FOUNDATION RELEASES AN OSCAR LORETO JR. GUEST MODEL SKATEBOARD

Today, Sandlot Times and the Sheckler Foundation released an Oscar Loreto Jr. guest model skateboard to benefit the foundation’s Adaptive Skate Programming in 2023. As a Sheckler Foundation SkateBOARD member and leader in the Adaptive Skate community, Oscar and the team is committing 50% of the proceeds to impact children with physical disabilities to get involved in skateboarding.
